Strawberry Mansion is a neighborhood located north west of Center City Philadelphia, and just North of Fairmount.
The neighborhood is bounded by 33rd Street to the west, 29th Street to the east, Lehigh Avenue to the north, and Oxford Street to the south.
The neighborhood is thought to have received it's name due to the historic house located adjacent to the neighborhood, the Historic Strawberry Mansion, which at one time housed a restaurant known for strawberries and cream.
Strawberry Mansion is beginning to receive more and more attention from investors due to its close proximity to Fairmount Park, as well as the recent success of investors in Brewerytown.
