Bella Vista & Hawthorne are bordering neighborhoods in south east Center City Philadelphia. Bella Vista translates to "beautiful sight" in Italian, and is bounded by 6th Street, 11th Street, South Street, and Washington Avenue.
Hawthorne is located between Broad Street and 11th Street, and extends from South Street to Washington Avenue.
